Very much enjoying Montanita Ecuador. This is what we came for. A village on the pacific ocean no bigger than Theodore. It is not full of tourists and yet has enough people coming to provide all the ammenities you want. Nice beach, lots of hostals, very nice restaurants and everything is inexpensive. $4 - $5 for a great sit down meal. $10 per person a night for a nice hotel room right on the beach. This morning at breakfast a man was selling fresh fish from a basket on the back of his motorbike. If anyone needs to find us we are on the beach front just down the street from the Happy Donkey House!

Montanita
Ecuador At last!
Finally we are on the beach in Ecuador. Leaving Regina 3 days ago our plane had mechanical problems and so we missed our connection in Minneapolis. Then when we left we could not land in Minneapolis due to weather. From there we flew to Milwaukee, could not leave the plane, flew to detroit, once again could not leave the plane and flew back to Minneapolis arriving after 10 hours. The put us up in a hotel and the next day flew from Minneapolis to Atlanta and on to Lima. Lima was only an overnight and then back to the airport and on to Guayaquil ecuador. From there we caught a bus to the coast. I fell asleep on the bus and Nicole woke me up to get off in a town and switch buses. Out of the bus and on to a curb in the middle of no where a car pulls up in front of us pulling a cage full of lions. What the heck was going on I had no idea. Then a much older bus packed with people pulls up and we get on to head north up the coast. Getting off finally at our destination Montanita Ecuador!
